Preparation of the Symposium (September 12/13, 2019)

The 2019 MAP-i Symposium will take place at the University of Minho (Braga) on September, 12/13th 2019.
In the Symposium all the students working on their thesis, except those that have already submitted it, are expected to present a Progress Report corresponding to the 2018/2019 academic year. Those students enrolled in the Thesis Proposal are expected to discuss their proposals before a jury.

MAP-i Symposium 2019 on September 12/13th at the University of Minho (Campus de Gualtar, Braga)

The 2018-2019 annual MAP-i Symposium will take place at the University of Minho, on September 12 and 13. The program will includes the public discussion of thesis proposals and the presentation of progress reports. It will also include an welcome session to the new students with the presentation of the courses offered for the edition of 2019/2020, where the students are expected to choose the optional courses.

Ana Patrícia Oliveira Ferreira da Rocha concluded Phd

Ana Patrícia Oliveira Ferreira da Rocha concluded her PhD on July, 1th 2019, at the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (DETI) of the  University of Aveiro, with the thesis entitled "System for Automated Motion Analysis during Gait using an RGB-D Camera". She was advised by Professors José Maria Fernandes (DETI/IEETA, UA)  and João Paulo Cunha (FEUP) and his research was also hosted by IEETA research unit.
