[U.Porto 3MT®] Three Minute Thesis competition (Register 1-31 December 2024)

The 4th edition of the Three Minute Thesis competition - U.Porto 3MT®, organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Innovation of U.Porto, is now open.

Registration for the U.Porto 3MT® competition 2024/2025 will take place from December 1 to 31, 2024, and requires the completion of an online form. Subsequently, between January 8 and 31, 2025, the submission of a 3-minute video will be mandatory.

All PhD students enrolled in a PhD program at U.Porto, provided they are in their 2nd year or later (meaning they have at least completed their second enrollment), are eligible to participate in the competition.

Important Dates

• 1 December 2024 – Phase 1: registration opens
• 31December 2024 – deadline to register online
  • 8  till 31 January 2025 – video submission by registered candidates
  • 17 March 2025 – Finalists are announced
• 11 April 2025 – Phase 2: Selection of 20 finalists
• 16 May 2025 – Final competition of 4th edition of U.Porto 3MT®
