João Pedro Fonseca Teixeira concluded his PhD the 23th of May 2022, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, with a thesis entitled "An anatomical breast atlas: automatic segmentation of key points in multiple radiological modalities". He was advised by Hélder Filipe Pinto de Oliveira (FCUP, U Porto) and Luís Filipe Teixeira (FEUP, U Porto).
