Dear Members of the UT Austin Portugal Transatlantic Community,

We are pleased to announce the launch of two exciting opportunities as part of Phase IV of the UT Austin Portugal Program:

• Research Internships at The University of Texas at Austin

A new call is now open for research internships of 3 to 6 months at UT Austin, one of the world’s leading research universities, supporting cutting-edge research in all disciplines and offering more than 200 dedicated research units and centers.

Participants will benefit from an immersion period at UT to undertake research activities in topics related to Advanced Computing, Nanotechnologies, Space-Earth Technologies and Clean Energy, while benefiting from a comprehensive support package during their mobility period.

Eligible applicants: Faculty, researchers, Master’s or PhD students and industry professionals affiliated with a Higher Education Institution, R&D center, or R&D-performing company in Portugal.

Application Deadline: July 1 (23:59 UCT+1), 2025

We are also proud to introduce our Training Academy 2025, featuring a curated selection of online courses with UT Austin. The upcoming courses will be delivered in collaboration with UT Austin’s Texas Engineering Executive Education:
